Orchestrating on Universal Studios’ film. Jurassic World Rebirth, orchestration on the Oscar ®-nominated score to director Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein: orchestration on the Oscar ®-nominated score to director David Fincher’s film Mank; orchestration/arranging on Pinocchio (2022, directed by Guillermo del Toro); the debut–celebrating the 65th anniversary of its initial recording–of Nan’s re-imagined arrangement of “Moon River”; conducting the film score Playing with Fire (Paramount Studios); big-band arrangements for jazz singer Nnenna Freelon performing at the Hollywood Bowl with the renowned Count Basie Orchestra; composition and arranging for the ballet Pulse!; arrangements for a Burt Bacharach tribute album by singer Trijntje Oosterhuis and the Metropole Orkestra; an acclaimed arrangement of “O Holy Night” for the Christmas album of vocal group Accent; the premiere of Nan’s latest orchestral commission, Tone Poem of Triumph; a performance of Nan’s orchestral work “Romanza” (1.875 million plays on Spotify!) by the Long Beach Symphony; music & lyrics for “I Tested Positive for the Blues,” recorded by Bernie Dresel’s big band, the BBB; and making her 4th sold-out appearance at Vibrato Jazz Club conducting a 17-piece orchestra + soloists in a live concert of her music; teaching and conducting at the Composers Summit Prague; the debut album of Argentinean vocalist Maria Puga Lareo, which Nan arranged and conducted.
